Google Pixel — Kosher Smartphone

What makes the Kosher Google Pixel kosher

A kosher Pixel is a Google Pixel with the browser and app store removed entirely. Fast and reliable, running only the apps you need — and Pixels receive the fastest software updates of any Android device, which we manage centrally to keep the filter stable. Current models include the Pixel 9a and Pixel 7.

Kosher smartphones and select models run a pre-screened set of apps — see our approved app bundles.

Frequently asked questions

Which Samsung and Pixel smartphones can be koshered?

These run our Gentech filter and support the widest range of allowed apps (Gmail, Zoom, banking apps, WhatsApp, etc.). They are pre-filtered, have no browser, and are managed by an MDM (mobile device management system).

What is the best kosher smartphone?

A koshered Samsung Galaxy or Google Pixel — full smartphone power with browser, social media, and AI chatbots removed. Top picks: Galaxy S22 (supported into 2027) and Pixel (fastest updates). The A15 is newest with the longest support window.

Do kosher phones get software updates?

We manage updates centrally to keep the filter stable — on Samsung models we block firmware updates and handle them in-house. If an app stops working due to firmware age, mail the phone in and we will bring it up to date.

Do Kosher Cell phones work on Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile?

Most of our phones are unlocked and work on major US carriers and MVNOs. We also offer our own service: kosher plans on T-Mobile starting at $8.50/mo, plus Verizon and AT&T service through Wing. Our T-Mobile and AT&T plans need an unlocked phone; the Wing Verizon plan also works on the carrier-locked TCL Flip. One note: Verizon lines sometimes need "CDMA-less" features removed by Verizon support to fix missing texts.
