What makes the Qin F30 kosher
The Qin F30's browser is removed from the operating system entirely — not blocked by a filter that could be bypassed. It runs a fixed, closed app set: new apps cannot be added, and on request we can disable specific built-in apps (Gmail, Waze, Uber). Choose your configuration at checkout: Talk Only, Talk and Text, no-email/no-video, or email with apps.
Kosher smartphones and select models run a pre-screened set of apps — see our approved app bundles.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Qin F30 kosher flip phone?
A simple flip-style kosher phone with a fixed app set. Notable limits: We cannot add new apps to the Qin — at most we can disable specific built-in apps (Gmail, Waze, Uber, etc.) on request.
Can I add apps to a Qin F30 flip phone?
Generally no — the Qin F30 runs a closed app set and new apps cannot be added. We can disable specific built-in apps (Gmail, Uber, Waze) on request. Send us your IMEI to check.
What is the best kosher phone for seniors?
The Qin F30 is our most popular choice for seniors — simple touch interface, large icons, and a fixed app set with nothing confusing. The TCL Flip is a good budget alternative with traditional buttons.
Which kosher phones have GPS navigation like Waze or Google Maps?
The MegaLife F1, Kyocera 4831, Wonder Phone, and all koshered Samsung/Pixel smartphones support Waze and/or Google Maps. The Qin F30 includes built-in Waze. Talk-only models have no navigation.
Do Kosher Cell phones work on Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile?
Most of our phones are unlocked and work on major US carriers and MVNOs. We also offer our own service: kosher plans on T-Mobile starting at $8.50/mo, plus Verizon and AT&T service through Wing. Our T-Mobile and AT&T plans need an unlocked phone; the Wing Verizon plan also works on the carrier-locked TCL Flip. One note: Verizon lines sometimes need "CDMA-less" features removed by Verizon support to fix missing texts.
Are kosher phones safe for teens who try to bypass restrictions?
Yes. The filter is built into the phone's operating system — it is not an app that can be deleted or switched off. Even a factory reset will not remove it: the phone stays kosher.
